These are the issues that matter most to people in Tipton Green. I hear them on the doorstep every week.
Fly-tipping is out of control. Rubbish dumped on our streets and alleyways is left for weeks before anyone acts. I'll push for faster clean-ups, proper enforcement against fly-tippers, and more accessible waste disposal for residents.
Anti-social behaviour affects too many families in our ward. I'll work with West Midlands Police and community groups to improve safety, support neighbourhood watch schemes, and make sure residents feel secure on their own streets.
Sandwell Council has a track record of poor governance and wasted money. Residents deserve a councillor who will ask the hard questions, challenge wasteful spending, and hold officers to account on every decision.
Missed bin collections, potholes left unfixed for months, and overgrown verges. Basic council services should actually work. I'll fight to make sure Tipton Green gets the standard of service our council tax pays for.
Our parks and public areas need proper care and investment, not neglect. From Victoria Park to the canal towpaths, these spaces belong to all of us. I'll campaign for better maintenance, safer paths, and cleaner play areas for children.
Council tax goes up, but services go down. That's not good enough. I'll scrutinise every major spending decision and fight against wasteful contracts. Your money should be spent on things that actually improve our area.
I'm not a career politician. I'm a local resident who's had enough of seeing Tipton Green let down by the people who are supposed to represent us.
I've lived in this area for years and I see the same problems everyone else does: streets that aren't kept clean, services that don't work properly, and a council that doesn't listen. I decided to do something about it. I'm standing in the Sandwell Council election on 7 May 2026 because Tipton Green deserves better, and I'm ready to fight for it.
