Accountability
I believe every pound of public money should be accounted for. When contractors don't deliver, they should be held to their agreements. When services fall short, someone should answer for it. No more excuses, no more passing the buck.
My name is Tom Lewandowski and I live here in Tipton Green.
I'm not a career politician — and I never planned to be one. But after years of seeing our area being neglected by those meant to look after it, I decided it was time to step up instead of just complaining.
Simply put — I got fed up.
Fed up with streets not being cleaned properly.
Fed up with problems being ignored.
Fed up with a council that seems more focused on its image than on getting things fixed.
Everyone can see things aren't working as they should.
Tipton Green deserves a councillor who lives here, understands the problems first-hand, and isn't afraid to speak up when something isn't good enough.
That's exactly what I aim to do.
I work in the private sector, where results matter.
If you don't deliver, you don't last — and I believe the same standard should apply to public services.
I believe in practical solutions, not political waffle.
In getting things done, not explaining why they can't be.
And in treating every pound of taxpayers' money with care and respect.
This isn't just an area on a map to me — it's my home.
It's where I walk my dog, do my shopping, and know the people around me.
When I knock on doors, I'm not visiting — I'm speaking to neighbours.
The problems people raise are the same ones I see every day.
And that's exactly why I want to represent Tipton Green — to make sure those issues are properly heard and properly dealt with.
Four principles that guide everything I do in this campaign and will guide me as your councillor.
I believe every pound of public money should be accounted for. When contractors don't deliver, they should be held to their agreements. When services fall short, someone should answer for it. No more excuses, no more passing the buck.
Residents deserve to know what's happening in their area. How money is being spent, what decisions are being made, and why. I'll make sure information flows openly and that there are no backroom deals hidden from the people who are paying the bills.
Less talk, more results. Practical solutions for real problems. I'm not interested in writing lengthy strategy documents or sitting in meetings that go nowhere. If there's a pothole, let's get it filled. If there's fly-tipping, let's get it cleared and catch the people responsible.
This isn't about politics. It's about our neighbourhood. I want to work with everyone in Tipton Green — regardless of which party they support — to make this a better place to live, work, and raise a family. We're neighbours first.
Whether you've spotted a problem that needs fixing or you want to get involved in the campaign, I'd love to hear from you.
